About the Business

It all started way back in 1925 when 20 year-old Reuben Drury was sent by his boss, H.P Ferdinant, to open a furniture store in Fountain, MN.  Originally,  it was started as a partnership between Reueben and Ferdinant, but in 1926 Reuben bought out his bosses share and changed the businesses name to R.C. Drury Furniture.  Soon, his wife Gladys or "Toots" joined the business.  In 1957, David, Reuben and Toots' son, joined the family business.  Now, David's children, Mike and Michelle, as well as 2 grand-children are all active in the family business.

In 2001, Drury's bought a small buidling on the corner of Coffee Street and Parkway Avenue in Lanesboro, MN.  In April 2002, Olivia's Attic was opened specilizing in home decor, accent furniture, gourment foods, and other unique items.
